This is one of Morazul’s favorite workshops to teach. She has been teaching it for more than 5 years in different urban places. The objective of the workshop is for students to go through the process of creating a Mural or a work of Urban Art from the beginning until they materialize it in the streets. When an Artist intervenes the streets, it is giving itself an incredible experience not only because of the creation of the work of Art, but also because of the relationship it creates with the people who live in the neighborhood. Also that the citizens really admire and enjoy Street Art. The idea of ​​the workshop has always been for the students to connect with their inner self and through Street Art express what they want to share with the world. 

In the workshop they begin by studying the history of Street Art and Graffiti. Then they continue with some classes where they study the bases of illustration and color as well as the importance of the concept of the artistic proposals. After that, they explore some Street Art techniques, such as: stencil, paste-up, spray paint, wall painting among others. Finally, they create the Street Art piece from their idea to the actual piece on the streets 🌈.

The workshop provides the students with theoretical material, although most of the time the exercises are practical and exploratory. The workshop gives the students the places in the city to intervene and the materials.

They start by seeing the Paste-up history and the examples of the creations of various artists. Then they continue by creating the concept of the artistic proposal that they want to develop. After that they study different techniques to do their Paste-ups creatively. Some of them are: spray paint, brush paint, paper, stencil and other variety of materials; the students can propose other materials that they want to work with. They create a big piece and a series of smaller pieces to make Street Art Bombing. They finish by going out to the streets and spreading their Art throughout the world 💖.
